Erika started with Lynton in 1994 after completing her degree at Leeds University. She runs the business along with her brother and fellow director, Rob.  She brings a considerable amount of contacts, experience and knowledge to the business from her 30 years at Lynton and looks after much of the financial side.  She hopes that Lynton continues for many years to come.

Loves catching up with friends, laughing and travel.

Rob has been a Director of the company since 2004 and been in the business since 1998. Son of the Founder of the company and Brother to Co Director, Erika Bates, he carries a wealth of knowledge of the industry for numerous markets across the globe and a huge amount of connections on both the sales and buying sides of the business. Rob loves the social side of the industry and enjoys building new connections and new markets.

Hates why people can’t just get on with each other in life.

Kirsty joined Lynton Exports in January 2024 as an Export Account Manager. With over 20 years experience in customer service, project and account management, Kirsty will go the extra mile to ensure that our customers are supported and feel valued whilst keeping customers informed of the latest product launches and promotions. 

Loves country walks with the dog and family, travelling and exploring new places.
Hates heights.

For 17 years, Ricardo has been at Lynton Exports managing and developing many markets, especially in Latin America and the European continent. He speaks fluent English, Spanish, Italian and French and is advanced in German. Ric has an interest in free from and organic lines which are a growing area of our company.

Loves swimming, reading, languages and politics.
Hates unhealthy food.

Dave is coming up to 5 years with Lynton. Dave’s main skills and focus include product knowledge, organization, negotiation, relationship building and excellent communication, with the desire & determination to go above and beyond to source the customers’ requirements.

Interested in most sports, especially golf.

Annette started at Lynton in April 2021 bringing over 30 years of experience in export sales and customer service across various industries. Annette is very passionate about customer service and always strives to go the extra mile for her customers. She has excellent organisation skills and loves a report!!

Hates poor drivers and people who make life harder than it needs to be!

David joined Lynton on a part time basis in September 2024 to help with business development initiatives. David has a strong export background having worked in senior international roles in a variety of FMCG companies including Britvic and Tangerine Confectionery / Valeo Snack  foods. Throughout this time, David has worked with Lynton on several markets and therefore has a good knowledge of our business and how we operate.

David is a keen golfer and sings in a local church choir. 

Our office dogs are always keen to give a friendly welcome. Should you not have a passion for dogs please let us know in advance of any visit and we will make sure that they are not around to cause any concern.
